Bernard Hohlfeld

A new addition to the group is wood turner Bernard Hohlfeld of Roundwood Studio. Bernard makes a large variety of turned and hollow formed bowls, and his newest work has been on bleached spalted maple 'hollow forms' that are masked off and airbrushed with different colors onto each different section. He is also continuing to explore the "Celtic Knot" series of carved intertwining ribbons of surface texture. Bernard is also the author of the newly published book "Turning Natural Edge Bowls" from Schiffer Publishing.
